AMOSA NORTH AMERICA SCHOLARSHIP

We believe every child deserves to acquire higher education. This belief informed our decision to establish the need and merit based scholarship scheme.
We are grateful to our general membership for ensuring that this scholarship scheme is a success. We also want to thank these specific individuals for establishing an educational fund in the name of their loved ones.

1. The late Madam Elizabeth Denso Tamakloe Educational Fund – $500 annually (Established by Ms. Dziedzom Tamakloe-Class of 1972)

2. The late Mr. John Korsah Educational Fund – $500 annually (Established by Mr. Sammy korsah-Class of 1983)

3. The late Captain Bennett Kwofie Educational Fund – $500 annually (Established by Ms. Helen A. Kwofie-Class of 2004)

 

Details:

A scholarship fund of $1,000 for Aggrey students entering any of the 3 government universities; University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and Cape Coast University. The scholarship will pay for the Admission Fee, procure a Lap Top Computer, and the remaining money given to the student as pocket money. This is a one time award.

Eligibility:

All Aggrey Memorial students currently in the Senior High School system who have gained admission to any of the above listed universities.

Requirements:

1. Students should provide the Admission Letter, and a personal letter (between 250-500 words) explaining why he/she deserves the award. 2. Students should provide a copy of his/her high school transcript. Email all required documents to [email protected]

Selection:

The successful applicant will be selected by a committee to be set up by the North America AMOSA Executive Board solely for this purpose.

Circulation:

The Scholarship will be announced to all final year Aggrey School SHS students, and circulated on all AMOSA social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp etc.)
